Adventure to Ely

We headed out Friday morning to go check out some places around Ely. We visited the Ward Charcoal Ovens State Park, Cave Lake State Park, Great Basin National Park & decided to camp at Creve Creek right outside of Ely right on the river where the boys caught some Rainbow Trout. It was nice, kind of cold & got rained on a little. While venturing around we saw Elk, Antelope & Deer. Saturday we decided to head into Ely & see the Northern Nevada Railway. The conductor gave us a tour of the train & gave us ideas how to set it up for our wedding so I think our destination has been set for the train. We also visited the Railway Museum & gift shop. On the way home we decided to try a different route through Milford, UT which ended up making our drive home a lot longer then expected but all in all it was a nice getaway.
