Surprise..Surprise

When Kasen got home today he was surprised to see our new addition to our family...A BUNNY! He has been wanting one for awhile so we decided to adopt "Bunners" from our friend. So not only do we have a RAT, TURKEYS, CHICKENS & TURTLES now we have a BUNNY. I'm pretty sure ducks and geese will be next.

Father's Day Idea

While we were out on our adventure in Caliente we stopped and picked up a couple brochures. One of them happened to be about the "Nevada Northern Railway", so after taking a look at it, we decided it would be fun to go to on Fathers Day this year & also celebrate Kasey's birthday. Here is our little mans school picture. It is hard to believe he will be finished with 3rd grade at the end of next month. He sure has grown into a handsome young man. He looks more & more like his father everyday.

Saturday Morning Adventure

We went to Rainbow Canyon and did a little crawdad fishing. While we were out and about we drove to Caliente and had some lunch then headed to Cane Springs. At Cane Springs Kasen found a baby lizard which we brought home. It was a nice Saturday morning, the weather turned out great.

A little update

Its Friday which means Kasen is here for the weekend. We started out our evening by talking about our upcoming plans for Summer break. This will be the first Summer in a couple years that Kasen will have all 3 months off. Before he attended 12 months school which gave us little breaks throughout the year, so we are super excited to plan our schedule for Summer break. We have thought of a couple ideas such as going to THE CREEK which is one of our favorites but I'm sure there will be a little camping involved, fishing, swimming, fireworks and of course a BDAY party for our birthday boy.

BUT this weekend...

Its early EASTER for us, which we are ALWAYS excited for. Nothing like a good egg hunt. We love when the Easter bunny visits early. We plan on coloring eggs tomorrow evening and doing our EGG HUNT in the morning followed by some good ol' fashioned board games and food. Cant wait to see what the bunny leaves behind...
